Hitachi Construction Machinery Includes Mixed Branded Fleet Management Capabilities in Updated LANDCROS Connect System
Newnan, Georgia (April 7, 2025) - Today, Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. Announced the launch of their updated fleet management system; LANDCROS Connect. This update allows users to manage their mixed fleets, including non-Hitachi branded construction machinery. The updated system will be on exhibit at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe’s booth at bauma 2025, April 7-13 in Munich, Germany.
This update boosts the capabilities of its predecessor by giving users access to machine usage data and location, even if their fleet has machinery from multiple OEMs. Contractors and rental businesses using LANDCROS Connect will be able to manage the operational data of their entire fleet from one convenient system. The system was created by Hitachi Construction Machinery to give large fleet owners a tool to quickly assess the state of their fleet.
Traditionally, companies with machines from multiple OEMs used different systems from each of their machine manufacturers. With the ability to manage operational data of other manufacturers’ machinery, LANDCROS Connect will contribute to the overall efficiency of contractors’ fleets and increase the productivity of their construction sites.
In the customizable dashboard, fleet managers can see an overview of their entire fleet and make day-to-day decisions based on a wholistic view of their machines.
The LANDCROS Connect system is available in 38 languages and uses ISO-compliant machinery location information and operational data to provide contractors with everything they need. From executives to site managers, personnel can easily access and browse the relevant details they need from their smartphones, tablets and PCs in a user-friendly manner. Furthermore, aiming to enhance convenience and increase the number of users, Hitachi Construction Machinery released a mobile application compatible with both iOS and Android platforms, which can be easily used both in offices and jobsite.
Main features of LANDCROS Connect
Displays the operational status of machinery from different manufacturers in user-friendly graphs and tables
Contractors can browse detailed information about each machine from a screen that enables them to simultaneously check a list of hundreds of their machines. This display includes the idling and operating times, as well as alarm status in a clear and easy-to-understand illustrative format. In addition, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions can also be seen at a glance, which enables them to conveniently assess their environmental impact.
Quickly browse location data for all machinery
Contractors can locate all of their machinery, separated by construction projects and sites, so that they can be viewed in convenient lists. Furthermore, they can geofence a particular area on a map to analyze the operational data of key machinery within that area only. This enables users to easily compare the availability of machinery by site, locate equipment in an optimal manner, and keep the projects on schedule. In addition, reports can be created and downloaded from the system to provide the latest information to interested parties.
Displaying operational information for machines within a geofenced area
Integrates seamlessly with existing systems (only for Hitachi Construction Machinery models)
LANDCROS Connect seamlessly integrates with the ConSite service solution, service parts catalogue, Owner’s Site and other solutions available from Hitachi Construction Machinery. For example, if ConSite issues an alarm as a notification of an anomaly, LANDCROS Connect receives the information and displays it on the dashboard. The program will quickly verify the alarm and present a list of suggested parts to simplify service needs.
