HITACHI REVEALS NEW MINI AND MIDI EXCAVATORS

Hitachi are excited to announce their new range of mini and midi excavators. The new models have all been designed with comfort and easy maintenance in mind, as well as high productivity. All have new user-friendly features such as sun visors and spacious cabs, as operator comfort was paramount in the design.

The next generation ZX-6 machines have communication devices which will be linked to Hitachi’s Global e-Service. This allows users to geographically locate their machine and track the hours recorded on it.

The new models were revealed at Bauma and offer high levels of performance, stability and comfort. They can be used with a range of attachments and are equipped with a new Stage V engine which improves fuel efficiency and gives cleaner emissions. These models are ideally suited for rental, utilities, foundation work, landscaping and indoor demolition.

The cabs are spacious and ROPS-compliant for the ultimate operator comfort. The ZX85USB-6 in particular has a comfortable air suspension seat as standard and is surrounded by user-friendly controls. LED lights have been fitted across the range, which have a longer lifespan than halogen lights.

Easy maintenance is integral to the new designs, they have easy access to the engine, radiator and fuel tank to save time during maintenance.
