Comfort and quality count for Norwegian contractor with new Hitachi compact excavator
A new Hitachi ZX95US-7 compact excavator has been delivered to Eyvinn Skjærli, owner of Skjærli Maskin AS, in Vennesla, Norway. The experienced operator is using the new machine for groundwork that includes sand layers, lawn, planting and asphalt. Here he shares his impressions of the latest addition to his Hitachi fleet.
Excavator performance built for operator comfort
“The machine is precise, smooth and comfortable to operate. The comfort is really good. You have a nice working day when you sit in this,” says Eyvinn. “You can sit for long periods of time.”
Eyvinn recently received the ZX95US-7 from Hitachi Construction Machinery dealer Nasta AS and its Sales Representative, Svend Åge, in Kristiansand. His positive impression is not just about the machine itself, but also the service he’s received throughout the purchasing process.
Quality is important
“We have been very satisfied so far,” he adds. “We’ve had good follow-up if there has been anything we have wondered about.
“The fuel consumption on this is lower than the machine I had before. Over the course of a year, it will be saving a few krone.”
The company owns several Hitachi machines and takes on both summer and winter jobs, including snow ploughing. Quality is an important part of their reputation, as echoed by one of their Facebook followers: “These guys can do this better than many others. Quality pays off.”
Eyvinn explains: “We make sure that things look perfect and work when we arrive. Unnecessary downtime is expensive.”
Trusted dealer relationship
“Our relationship with Nasta has worked great from day one, when I was in contact with Svend Åge about buying a new machine. He has followed up very well and dealing with the workshop has been great. They have answered all the questions we have had, so we are very satisfied!”
