A major milestone for our Danish dealer! HP Entreprenørmaskiner A/S (HPE) is celebrating its 25th anniversary of working with the Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) brand in 2025.
HPE was established in 1981 by Hans Peter Pedersen. Over the years, the company has grown to 60 employees and has three branch locations: Bjæverskov and Horsens in Denmark, and Nuuk in Greenland. Starting from modest beginnings, it has succeeded in developing a significant and loyal customer base in both countries.
The first Hitachi machine sold was an EX17 by HPE District Manager Henrik W. Sørensen, who has worked for the company for 27 years. The excavator was delivered to Brdr. Becks ApS, which remains a loyal customer of HPE having bought a ZX95USB-7 earlier this year. This is now one of the dealer’s most popular models, along with the ZX26U-6, ZX95US-7, ZX135US-7 and ZX225USLC-7.
The dealer’s professional image and reputation have been a major factor in its continued success. Today HPE is renowned as a company that people want to do business with because they treat their employees and customers with respect.
Trusted performance and long-term value
The HCM brand has also gained a positive reputation in Denmark over the last 25 years, thanks to the support and dedication of HPE. Hitachi is recognised as a premium quality brand – built on trust, performance, and long-term value
Looking to the future, HPE and Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) are perfectly positioned to meet the needs of the Danish construction industry, which is becoming increasingly focused on sustainability, digitalisation, and operator safety. “There’s growing demand for low-emissions and efficiency, as well as smart technologies like GPS and telematics,” says P.C. Nørgaard, a District Manager at HPE. “A shortage of skilled labour has also made reliable, easy-to-use equipment more important than ever.”
