Dutch contractor takes delivery of first two Zaxis-7 medium excavators (VIDEO)

The first Hitachi Zaxis-7 medium excavators in The Netherlands have been successfully delivered to Grondverzetbedrijf Oosterveld BV, based in Bornerbroek in the east of the country.

The ZX350LC-7 arrived in May and was followed in September by the ZX250LC-7.

Both machines were supplied by Timmerman BV, an authorised sub-dealer of Hitachi Construction Machinery Nederland.

Hitachi Zaxis-7 excavator aids conservation in the Danube

One of the first Hitachi ZX300-7 excavators in Austria is working on an important aquatic conservation project on the River Danube. Owned by family-run company, GLS Bau und Montage GmbH, the new medium excavator is one of several construction machines creating a 12km bypass channel that will enable fish to pass the Altenwörth power station to spawn.
