Data on demand

As part of the digitalisation of our industry, telematics technology is used increasingly to monitor the location and performance of machinery, ensuring it is being used as effectively and efficiently as possible.

If your fleet is made up of different brands of equipment, you want to see all your machine data in one place. An API (application programming interface) helps you with this, as it allows to get the data from the different OEM systems into your system.

Hitachi provides telematics API so you can view data sent from your machines either on your existing manufacturer-supplied platform, such as Hitachi Global e-Service, or on an independent fleet management software, such as Abax Smart Connect.

Hitachi works closely with ABAX to provide telematics fleet management system to owners of mixed equipment fleets.

High-frequency updates

The Hitachi telematics API (AEMP version 1.2 and ISO15143-3 API) gives you the option to receive data on your fleet every 10 or 60 minutes, or every 24 hours.
