HCME rewards new dealers and landmark anniversaries

As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) held a dedicated awards evening in an exclusive venue overlooking the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium. The aim of the inaugural event was not only to commemorate the successes of its dealer network, but also to honour those who are helping to build a better future.

Strengthening our people and partners

The first of four awards categories was designed to highlight Hitachi’s commitment to its partners. These included several new dealers who have recently joined the Hitachi family and others who have been with HCME for landmark anniversaries.

Welcome to the family

HCME Marketing Manager Laura Hendriks and Sales Operations Coordinator Joep van den Maagdenberg presented the Welcome to the Family Award to nine new dealers in HCME’s European network: Helma from Greece; six new Italian dealerships – Comac, Salomoni, Franco Clo, KMI, WR57 and Massucco T; mining partner ZAMine from Ukraine; and MHM, part of the Alwark Group, also from Ukraine.

Long-term partnership

After welcoming the newest dealers into the HCME family, the Long-term Partnership Award paid tribute to the longest-serving Hitachi dealers in Europe: “Over the past five decades, we have developed strong partnerships with some of our long-standing dealers, built on trust and mutual appreciation,” said Laura Hendriks. “We would like to thank them for their ongoing support and commitment to the Hitachi brand and our customers.”

With a full 50 years of partnership, both Hitachi Construction Machinery NL and Hitachi Construction Machinery UK were presented with the first two distinguished awards. These were followed by: loyal dealers Nasta from Norway and Luyckx from Belgium, who were each recognised for 40 years of cooperation; and Delvator from Sweden, for its silver anniversary of 25 years.
