New Zaxis-7 excavator delivered to MHI Naturstein

The authorised Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) dealer in Germany, Kiesel, recently supplied a new ZX890-7 to MHI Naturstein GmbH. The large Zaxis excavator was delivered to the company’s quarry near Breitenborn, to the northeast of Frankfurt, where it will play a key role in the production process.

MHI – a trusted company

Highly durable and with low fuel consumption, the ZX890LCH-7 has proved to be the perfect addition to MHI Naturstein’s fleet for their demanding quarrying operation. The Kiesel team was present to complete all the required handover instructions at the site, making sure the machine was prepped and ready to start work.

MHI Naturstein is part of the wider MHI Group, which is a medium-sized producer of building materials, with road and civil construction companies as part of its portfolio. The group specialises in extracting and processing natural stone, which can then be used in such projects as: concrete production; road construction; organic farming; gardening and landscaping; and for insulating materials.

Kiesel has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with the MHI Group, and the new ZX890LCH-7 joins a ZX690LCH-6 in the company’s expanding HCM large excavator fleet.

Constructing a new skyline for Vienna

A ZX350-7 excavator with clamshell telescopic arm (CTA) has recently been put to work on a prestigious project in Vienna. Owned by PORR AG, the special application excavator has been working on the construction of the new DC Tower 2. With an impressive depth range of up to 30 metres and a loading time of only 50-60 seconds, the durable model has already proven itself up to the task of this demanding contract.

Why Kloosterman keeps faith with Hitachi

One of the longest-standing Hitachi Construction Machinery customers in The Netherlands, Kloosterman BV, has recently welcomed its first Zaxis-7 excavator to its fleet. Located in Zuidbeveland, the company works on large contracts for the national government to maintain the waterways in the south-west of the country.

Hitachi plays its part in Dutch contractor’s success

Dutch contractor Arco de Visser, based in Zeeland, has been a Hitachi customer since 2005, having started his business in 2003. “I had operated machines from a young age and when I started working for myself, I requested offers from different brands. The quickest reply and the best offer were from the local Hitachi sub-dealer, Pladdet,” he says.
