Emission Neutral

The aim of “emission neutral” is to reduce the environmental impact across the product’s life cycle. We define it as equalizing the “direct environmental burden” and the “reduction in the social environmental burden.”The “direct environmental burden” refers to the environmental burden that can be reduced through one’s own exertions, and covers greenhouse gases, waste products, chemical substances, and emissions generated in each stage of production – from material refinement and processing, to manufacturing, right through to transportation.
“Reduction in the social environmental burden” on the other hand, measures reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and waste generated during usage and recycling achieved through product energy efficiency improvements and resource reductions against the FY2005 model’s figures.
HCM Group already achieved emission neutral in FY 2014.
