On September 3, 2015, Hitachi Construction Machinery Japan held its Customer Support (CS) Subcommittee Meeting, which is as part of the Environmental Committee. This meeting is held each year with the goal of improving the environmental management level at domestic sales, rental, service, risk management, general affairs, and procurement departments.
Thirteen people attended this year’s meeting. Participants reported on each department’s response to environmental laws and regulations, confirmed current operations, and exchanged opinions. Information, including forecasts for environmental trends, was also shared.
The subcommittee plans to continue to actively carry out communications by going through the Environmental Committee. The subcommittee aims to boost the level of environmental management at each department and site.
