Notice regarding unauthorized access to email security service used by Global e-Service
Hitachi Construction Machinery Group would like to inform you that the email security service “IIJ Secure MX Service” provided by Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (“IIJ”) has been subject to unauthorized access. We use the service in our Global e-Service system, which manages construction machinery via the Internet. As of today, there has been no confirmation of any information leakage. According to IIJ's press release*, countermeasures have already been implemented, and the service is currently available for use in a secure manner.

We are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the details of the incident. We kindly ask customers and dealers to remain vigilant against any fraudulent emails or phone calls claiming to be from Hitachi Construction Machinery Group.
If any new information becomes available, we will notify everyone promptly.
