Hitachi Construction Machinery Unveils First Solutions Under the New LANDCROS Concept at bauma 2025
Tokyo, April 7, 2025 – Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6305; "Hitachi Construction Machinery") announces that Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) N.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, Netherlands; President: Francesco Quaranta, Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe), its European regional headquarters, will exhibit first solutions under the LANDCROS Concept at bauma 2025, the international construction machinery and mining trade fair taking place from April 7 to 13 in Munich, Germany.
In July 2024, Hitachi Construction Machinery launched the LANDCROS Concept, demonstrating its commitment to delivering innovative solutions to all stakeholders. At bauma 2025, Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe will introduce the LANDCROS Connect Fleet Management System and LANDCROS Innovation Studios.

LANDCROS Connect will address specific industry challenges by providing innovative solutions that streamline the entire customer experience and improve operational efficiency. Fleet Management System, which centrally manages machinery from different manufacturers operating at construction sites, in addition to introducing its LANDCROS Innovation Studios co-creation activities to openly develop businesses together with startup companies and propose open solutions trusted by customers. These are the first solutions to be announced under the LANDCROS concept. Going forward, Hitachi Construction Machinery will continue to apply the LANDCROS concept Initiative to products and services of innovative solutions, expand them globally, transform itself into a true global thinking organization and disseminate its desire throughout the industry.
At bauma, Hitachi Construction Machinery is demonstrating this commitment by addressing challenges facing the construction and mining sectors. Under the theme "Challenges accepted," the company is showcasing an ecosystem of solutions that work together to power customer success.
“We will improve the user experience in the design of our products, continue to develop reliable solutions beyond machinery, and bring a broad range of zero-emission products and supporting infrastructure to the market”. Our 4,000m2+ display at stand number FN.716 will be modelled around our theme, to highlight that challenges are not roadblocks, but launchpads for growth, learning, and ground-breaking solutions that help our customers "build better, be safer, and stay connected", adds Francesco.
More than 30 machines ranging from one to 120 tonnes will be on display, including the manufacturer’s growing line-up of zero-emission machines, from 1.7 to 30 tonnes. In partnership with KTEG, a joint venture with Kiesel Technology GmbH, which was announced at bauma 2022, it will unveil its largest ever zero-emission excavator line-up of nine models including the first hydrogen solutions. In addition to the wide range of zero-emission excavators, a fully autonomous excavator – based on the electric 14-tonne KTEG’s ZE135 will be presented in the Demonstration Area at the stand.
Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe will showcase an array of digital solutions and services, including ConSite, ZAXIS Finance, and the Hitachi Premium Rental program, among others. Additionally, parts and remanufactured components, as well as buckets and ground-engaging tools, will be prominently promoted.
