Building Classrooms, Building Futures: Supporting a high school in Coimbatore (Bradken)
Bradken, a consolidated subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery, constructed classrooms and provided essential equipment to the Government Higher Secondary School in Kallapalayam, Coimbatore, India, as part of its ongoing contributions to the local communities where it operates.
In July 2025, Bradken CEO Winstone Sean and members of the Executive Leadership Team formally handed over a newly built two-classroom facility and associated infrastructure during their visit to the school. The initiative included the provision of tables, desk-bench sets, chairs, and fans to create a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.
These efforts reflect Bradken’s dedication to nurturing education and strengthening community ties through meaningful CSR initiatives.
The head of Bradken, who is involved in the project, said, “The impact has been very encouraging. The new classrooms have improved seating, ventilation, and organization, helping students focus, attend regularly, and develop a positive attitude toward learning. In developing areas like Tamil Nadu, quality infrastructure plays a vital role in enhancing comfort, safety, and participation. Supporting schools in Coimbatore, where our operations are based, aligns with our vision of investing in communities and the future.
